Set up in 2002 by Carlo Dusi, Aria Films is a dedicated outfit for the provision of a wide range of business, financing and production services specifically to operators within the feature film industry.

Our services have included:

  • The executive production of independently produced feature films
  • The raising of both development and/or production finance for selected projects
  • Co-production of international projects originating outside the United Kingdom that require a British Partner with expertise and connections in both the British and the international financing and production communities.

In addition to its project-specific capability, Aria has also advised operators within the international film industry on the raising of corporate capital and operating and slate production and development finance, as well as regularly providing business affairs consultancy services to a diverse number of operators within the international film industry, including producers, sales agents and financiers.

Through strong relationships with emerging writing and directing talent within the UK film industry, in 2006 Aria Films commenced production on its first own developed feature, Gareth Maxwell Roberts's feature debut "Kill Kill Faster Faster", and co-produced Peter Greenaway's latest feature "Nightwatching", starring Martin Freeman as Dutch painter Rembrandt alongside Jodhi May, Eva Birthistle, Natalie Press and Toby Jones.

Aria's recent works include the contemporary London drama "Broken Lines", a co-production with Axiom Films International starring Paul Bettany and Olivia Williams and 2000 Academy Award nominee Paul Morrison's "Little Ashes", starring Robert Pattinson, Matthew McNulty and Javier Beltran.
