Having executive produced several short films and features including Marcus Adams’s Buena Vista thriller ‘Octane’ starring Madeleine Stowe and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, and Peter Greenaway’s trilogy ‘The Tulse Luper Suitcases’, in 2006 Aria Films produced the award-winning debut of commercial director Gareth Maxwell Roberts ‘Kill Kill Faster Faster’ (Best International Feature Award at the prestigious 2008 London Independent Film Festival and Best Independent Feature at the 2008 London Charity Erotic Awards).

Subsequent co-productions include Peter Greenaway’s latest feature ‘Nightwatching’ starring Martin Freeman as Rembrandt (official Selection in the 2007 Venice and Toronto Film Festivals), and the recently completed ‘Broken Lines’ starring Paul Bettany and Olivia Williams (official selection in the 2008 Venice and London Film Festivals). In 2008, Aria Films produced 2000 Academy Award nominee Paul Morrison’s third feature ‘Little Ashes’ starring Robert Pattinson and Javier Beltran as Salvador Dali and Federico Garcia Lorca, which was released theatrically in the UK, US and Spain in May 2009 after a successful festival run, and went on to win the GLAAD Award 2010 as “Outstanding Film – Limited Release” and the “Best Film” Award at Verona’s 2010 Schermi D’Amore Film Festival.

Aria Films has since been involved in executive producing Alicia Duffy’s debut ‘All Good Children’ for leading producer Jonathan Cavendish, which screened as part of the 2010 Directors Fortnight at Cannes, and is currently involved in the financing and production of a number of international features including Marc Jobst’s psychological thriller ‘Inferno’ starring Alice Eve and John Hurt, and John Charles Jopson’s period intrigue ‘The Absinthe Drinkers’ starring Alicja Bachleda, Tim Roth, John Hurt, Peter Facinelli and Keith Carradine.

7th December 2008 - 'Kill Kill Faster Faster' wins the Best HD Editing in a Feature and Best Cinematography in a Feature at the 2008 HD Fest in Los Angeles.

12 September 2008 - 'Kill Kill Faster Faster' wins the Best Independent Feature Film Award at the 2008 Charity UK Erotic Awards

21 April 2008 - The debut feature by writer/director Gareth Maxwell Roberts “Kill Kill Faster Faster” was awarded the prestigious prize for Best International Feature Film at the 2008 London Independent Film festival on Friday 18 April 2008. Full press release here

11 February 2008 - "Kill Kill Faster Faster" receives its first market screening at the Berlin European Film Market on 11 February 2008.

03 February 2008 - Paul Morrison's "Little Ashes" is acquired by Regent Entertainment for North-America and Katapult Film Sales for all other international sales.
